PSE certification is a mandatory safety certification in Japan to prove that electrical and electronic products have passed the safety standards of the Japanese Electrical and Material Safety Law (DENAN Law) or the international 1653 IEC standard test. Japan's DENTORL Law (Electrical Devices and Materials Control Law) stipulates that 498 products must pass safety certification to enter the Japanese market. Among them, 165 types of A products should obtain the diamond-shaped PSE mark, and 333 types of B products should obtain the round PSE mark. All products belonging to the specific electrical supplies catalog, to enter the Japanese market, must be certified by a third-party certification body authorized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan, to obtain a certificate of conformity, and a diamond-shaped PSE mark on the nameplate.

(A) PSE catalog list
According to the DENTORL law, 340 kinds of B products are divided into 7 parts:

From April 1, 2001 "Electrical Products Control Law (DENTORL)" officially changed its name to "Electrical Products Safety Law (DENAN)", which is different from the previous regulatory system of the agreement on the control, the new system will be unofficial institutions The new system will be controlled by an unofficial body to ensure the safety of products.
Class A: Designated electrical equipment and materials products
All products belonging to the list of "specific electrical appliances" must be certified by a third-party certification body authorized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan to enter the Japanese market, and obtain a certificate of conformity, which is poorly labeled with a diamond-shaped PSE mark, as shown in the figure:
