In February 2023, the EU RASFF common 16 cases of food contact material violation cases, 11 cases from China, 2 cases from the United States, 1 case from Turkey, 1 case from Spain, 1 case from France, Belgium. A total of 4 cases were due to violations of primary aromatic amines, 3 cases were due to migration violations of heavy metals, 3 cases were due to comprehensive migration violations, 2 cases were due to the addition of unauthorized plant fibers, 2 cases were due to excessive migration violations of formaldehyde, 1 case was due to phthalol migration violations, and 1 case was due to quality defects.
