Energy efficiency test refers to the measurement and recording of a series of parameters under operating conditions of boilers in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, and the calculation of boiler thermal efficiency. According to the requirements of the thermal efficiency limits stipulated in the Boiler Energy Conservation Supervision and Management Regulations, the thermal efficiency results of the energy efficiency test are judged. The purpose of the energy efficiency test is to strengthen the design, manufacture and operation management of boilers and improve the energy efficiency level of boiler operation. Promote the development, manufacture and application of new energy-saving boilers.
Energy efficiency label, also known as energy efficiency label, is a kind of information label attached to energy-consuming products or their small packages, indicating the energy efficiency level of the product and other performance indicators, with the purpose of providing the necessary information for users and consumers' purchase decisions, in order to guide and help consumers choose energy-efficient products.
Classification of energy efficiency tests
At present, the world's more well-known energy efficiency certifications include the U.S. Energy Star, California CEC certification, EU EUP energy efficiency certification, Australia GEMS energy efficiency certification, China Energy Conservation Certification, etc.
Third-party testing organizations can provide energy efficiency testing services for the following markets:
North American energy efficiency testing: Energy Star, Energy Efficiency Guide Mark, AHRI, CEC, NRCAN, LEED, etc;

The significance and role of ERP energy efficiency test certification.
With the improvement of living standards, people's concern for the environment is increasing day by day. Governments, especially those of developed countries, are increasingly considering environmental aspects when formulating policies to ensure sustainable development of society.
Energy-using products (EUP) are generally considered to have several environmental impacts during the production, distribution, use, and disposal stages, such as climate change, energy and resource consumption, and the generation of general and toxic waste. In recent years, the impact of electrical products on the environment has gradually become more and more important, and countries have developed product environmental performance improvement goals and standards, and this trend is the basis for the EU's current directive regulating the environmental design of this appliance.
ERP certification is the energy efficiency certification part of CE certification called EPR energy efficiency test, which has been mandatory since March 1, 2013.
ERP energy efficiency test certification requirements: European energy efficiency is mainly represented by the EU's ERP requirements. the ERP directive, like the LVD directive and EMC directive, is also included in the EU's CE system. Therefore, the relevant products must meet the ERP requirements before they can be marked with the CE mark on the product nameplate and have a designated body responsible for market supervision, which is a mandatory requirement of the EU.
In this regard, the inspection and quarantine agencies remind relevant export enterprises to pay close attention to the relevant international standards, timely technical upgrades and product transformation, and seek professional and independent third-party testing and certification agencies for product inspection when necessary, in order to reduce unnecessary trade risks and losses.
The 5 levels of China Energy Efficiency Label:
Level 1 indicates that the product has reached the international advanced level and is energy-saving, i.e. low energy consumption.
Grade 2 indicates comparative power saving.
Grade 3 indicates that the energy efficiency of the product is the average level of China's market.
Grade 4 indicates that the energy efficiency of the product is lower than the average level of the market.
Grade 5 is the market access indicator, below the level required by the product is not allowed to produce and sell.
In order to popularize the awareness of energy saving and efficiency among various consumer groups, the energy efficiency grade display bar uses three forms of expression to visually express the energy efficiency grade information: first, the text part "low, medium and high energy consumption"; second, the numerical part "1, 2, 3, 4 and 5"; third, the grade indication color scale arranged according to the emotion represented by the color, where red represents prohibition, orange represents warning, and green represents environmental protection and energy saving.
European Energy Efficiency ERP
The ErP Directive stipulates that energy-consuming products included in the implementation measures must be labeled with the CE mark before they can enter the EU market. Before obtaining the CE mark, the manufacturer or its authorized representative should take measures to ensure that the products have passed conformity assessment in accordance with the content and procedures of the implementation measures, prepare technical documents related to product conformity assessment, and issue EC conformity declaration.

California Energy Efficiency CEC
CEC is the abbreviation of California Energy Commis-sion's (CEC), whose duty is to make the energy market develop in the direction of healthy competition. The organization has been promoting the California Appliance Efficiency Regul-ation since 1976, which is a mandatory energy efficiency regulation that can influence non-government consumption behavior in the United States, and has played an important role in reducing energy consumption.
ERP energy efficiency test certification role:
1. ensure the free flow of ERP\EUP within the EU region;
2. enhance the overall environmental performance of these products to protect the environment;
3. contribute to a stable supply of energy and enhance the competitiveness of the EU economies
4. protect the interests of industry and consumers. Power adapter ERP certification requires the provision of samples for testing.
EU regulations: all electronic and electrical products sold in Europe must meet the ERP energy efficiency test testing or ERP certification requirements (European energy consumption has associated product energy efficiency requirements)
China energy efficiency labeling application process:
The energy efficiency labeling system is different from the well-known CCC certification or energy conservation certification system, which adopts the model of enterprise self-declaration + record + supervision and management. To facilitate enterprises to apply for energy efficiency labeling, the testing and filing process is explained as follows.
Step: Product testing
Energy efficiency testing should be conducted in a qualified laboratory.
After passing the test according to the corresponding national energy efficiency standards, an energy efficiency test report is issued. The test report is an important basis for the energy consumption index marked by the product energy efficiency label. The original report should be submitted to the Energy Efficiency Labeling Management Center for review and record.
Step 2: Production of energy efficiency labels
Please click to download the editable energy efficiency label sample in CorelDRAW format. Open it with CorelDRAW version 11.0 or above (with Founder's font) and mark the name of the producer, specification model, energy efficiency level and energy efficiency index. The energy efficiency level and energy efficiency index should be determined according to the test report. Energy efficiency indicators should not exceed the value range of the corresponding energy efficiency level, and the energy efficiency indicators of the tested samples should be able to meet the marked values in the energy efficiency label.
The energy efficiency label should be printed on 80 grams or more of coated paper and pasted with stickers in the obvious position of the product or small package. A sample of the logo should be provided for review when filing.
Step 3: Fill in filing information online
First of all, you should register as an enterprise user in China Energy Efficiency Labeling Network. The basic information of the enterprise must be provided, and the registration will be completed after the administrator's review (about 3 days).
After successful registration, log in and add the information related to product filing, mainly the information marked by the energy efficiency label.
For more detailed information, please refer to the Office Guide section on the left side of the home page of China Energy Efficiency Labeling website.
Step 4: Submit the required text materials for filing
Submit the following text materials to China Energy Efficiency Labeling Management Center:
A copy of the producer's business license or registration certificate;
Information sheet for energy efficiency labeling filing enterprises;
Sample energy efficiency label; (see step 2)
The energy efficiency labeling filing form;
Energy efficiency test report; (see step)
When authorized or OEM production is involved, it is necessary to provide
A letter of authorization for use;
OEM statement for the record of energy efficiency labeling;
If the producer is an overseas registered enterprise, the importer is also one of the responsible parties, so it is also necessary to provide
A copy of the importer's business license or registration certificate;
Importer enterprise information form;
A copy of the relevant contract entered into by the importer and the overseas producer;
After receiving the written filing materials, the Energy Efficiency Labeling Management Center will generally provide feedback or rectification within 10 working days. After the filing is completed, it will be publicized on the China Energy Efficiency Labeling Network, and relevant information can be inquired by filing number, producer name or model.
After the energy efficiency test, the distribution of energy consumption can be understood. Then, according to the measured data, the energy efficiency of the energy-consuming equipment of the enterprise will be evaluated according to the procedures and methods of the national motor system efficiency evaluation. Through the evaluation, energy saving opportunities and energy saving space of enterprises can be identified, and data information can be provided for energy saving programs.
