What is CPC certification?
CPC certification is a Children's ProductCertificate (CPC) mainly for products for children under 12 years old, such as toys, bassinets, children's clothing, etc.. It is provided by the manufacturer for products made in the United States and by the importer for products made in other countries. In other words, cross-border sellers who are "importers" and want to sell products made in Chinese factories to the United States need to provide CPC certificates to Amazon as a retailer/distributor.
Although called a "certificate," but the CPC certificate is not issued by any official agency, nor does it need to be filed in the government bu door. In essence, the CPC certificate is a "warranty" drafted by the manufacturer/importer and is the sole responsibility of the manufacturer. The CPC certificate declares that its products comply with all applicable local U.S. child product safety regulations and other laws and regulations.
