Measures for the Administration of Pollution Control of Electronic Information Products (Implementation Date: March 1, 2007)
The "Management Measures for Pollution Control of Electronic Information Products" (hereinafter: Management Measures) jointly issued by seven national ministries and commissions stipulates that electronic information products shall comply with national standards or industry standards for the control of toxic and hazardous substances or elements in electronic information products during the design, production and sales process. Enterprises must mark the name of toxic and hazardous substances or elements and their content, and mark the environmental protection of electronic information products use period. The standards implemented with the management approach include: SJ/T 11363-2006 "Requirements for the Limits of Toxic and Hazardous Substances in Electronic Information Products" (replaced by GB/T 26572-2011), SJ/T 11364-2006 "Requirements for Pollution Control Labeling of Electronic Information Products" and SJ/T 11365-2006 "Test Methods for Toxic and Hazardous Substances in Electronic Information Products" (replaced by GB/T 2672-2011).
