Lamp Inspection

Luminaire, refers to the ability to transmit light, distribution and change the light distribution of the light source apparatus, including all the parts and components needed to fix and protect the light source in addition to the light source, as well as the line accessories necessary to connect with the power supply.

Luminaire test items

Photovoltaic performance (IES LM-79-08, CIE No. 13.3-1995, ANSI C78.377-2008, ANSI C82.772002): color temperature, chromaticity coordinates, color rendering index, power factor, light output, luminous efficiency, spatial color distribution, luminous intensity distribution

LED lamp life maintenance (IES LM-80-08): 6000H (if the lamp beads have IES LM-80 test report, you can do without this test) safety (UL1310, UL1598, UL1993, UL153, UL8750): safety regulations electromagnetic interference (Part 15, Part18): FCC other requirements (ANSI C78.5-2003, ANSI C79.1-2002, CIE No. 18.2-1983, ANSI C78.20-2003, ANSI C62.41-1991): start time, rise time, dimming requirements, transient protection, noise, low operating temperature, housing temperature, off-state power, operating frequency

Standards for LED products exported to the EU market

Export to the EU countries need to pass the safety certification test (LVD) and electromagnetic compatibility certification test (EMC), the main certification labels are CE and ENEC, certification standards include: IEC/EN:60598-1 (general requirements and tests for lamps and lanterns), IEC/EN:60598-2-3 (safety requirements for road and street lighting), IEC IEC/EN62031(General safety requirements for LED modules),IEC/EN:61000-3-2(Single-phase input current≤16A equipment harmonic current emission limits),IEC/EN:61000-3-3(Limits for voltage fluctuations and flicker in low-voltage power supply systems),IEC/EN61547(Electromagnetic compatibility immunity requirements for equipment for general lighting). IEC/EN55015 (Limit values and measurement methods for radio disturbance characteristics of electrical lighting or type of equipment).

Standards for LED products exported to the North American market

The main certifications for export to North American market are UL, ETL, FCC and ENERGYSTAR (Energy Star), etc. UL certification for LED street lighting products refer to UL8750 or UL60950, UL1598 two standards, not testing the EMC characteristics of the lamps, ETL certification test references exactly the same as the UL standard. FCCPart15B,ClassAdigitaldevice test limit standards, do not test the safety characteristics of the lamps; ENERGYSTAT (Energy Star) mainly for residential and commercial lighting with the class of LED lamps and lanterns photoelectric performance requirements, LED street lighting is not included.

Luminaires GB 7000 test standards for the following items to make key requirements:

Luminous flux maintenance rate: lamp in the specified conditions of ignition point, during the life of the lamp - a specific time the luminous flux and the initial luminous flux of the lamp ratio, expressed as a percentage.

Life: a finished lamp from the ignition point to burn out, or the cumulative time when the lamp works to less than any of the requirements for life performance specified in the standard. A number of lamps tested for 50% lamp failure life can not be less than the rated 50% lamp failure life, a number of the number decided by the manufacturer, but should be less than 20.

Lumen maintenance rate: After 2000 hours of aging, including the aging phase, the lumen maintenance rate cannot be lower than the figure provided by the manufacturer.

Lamp testing process

1、Telephone consultation-Fangliu testing.

2、Mail the luminaire or take samples at home.

3、Quote from Fangliu engineer.

4、Pay the testing fee and carry out the experiment.

5、Complete the experiment and issue the test report.

6、Fangshuo mail the test report, after-sales service.
