On December 29, 2022, the State Administration for Market Regulation (State Standards Administration Committee) approved the Announcement of National Standards of the People's Republic of China No. 19, 2022. This announcement includes the national standard GB 17625.1-2022 "Electromagnetic Compatibility Limits Part 1: Harmonic current emission Limits (Equipment input current per phase ≤16A)", which will be officially implemented on July 1, 2024, replacing GB 17625.1-2012.

If it can be achieved through reasonable Settings, each function of the multifunctional device can be tested independently. When each function of the device meets the requirements of the category to which the function belongs, the device meets the test requirements of this document.
For devices that do not clearly indicate how to operate each function separately, the manufacturer may provide an instruction manual for testing that explains how to implement the corresponding function of the device separately. These instructions can specify the internal changes of the equipment, and the equipment should be tested accordingly. If a test specification is not provided, or if it is not possible to run each function separately to test the device, the device meets the requirements of this document if it meets the strictest limits with all its functions turned on at the same time. If a function of the device can be significantly regarded as the main function of the device in comparison with other functions, the device may be tested with all functions turned on at the same time, and conformity is determined using the limits of its main function.
4. Add and revise the test conditions of household electrical products (such as vacuum cleaners, washing machines, microwave ovens, etc.) in Appendix B.
5. Changes in lighting equipment (changes greatly)
a) Rated power > 25W: 3 harmonic current requirements change: 30*λ→27 (based on the power factor that can be achieved by modern lighting technology, according to the old version, the smaller the power factor, the stricter the limit);
b)5W≤ rated power ≤25W: Requirements for new lighting equipment: one of the three provisions of section 7.4.3 shall be met;
c) Rated power < 5W: exempt from test.
6, information technology equipment (ITE) : the limit requirements are unchanged, and the external power supply further defines the test method, which is more in line with the actual use of the external power supply.
7, audio and video equipment: limit requirements do not change, television receiver (TV) test method changes.
